Floyd Mayweather Vs Logan Paul Simulated On Fight Night Champion, Ends In Brutal Knockout

 Retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced Sunday he will return to the ring in a "super exhibition" against YouTuber Logan Paul.

The match is scheduled for February 20, 2021, according to a post from Floyd on his Instagram page. The bout will be available via Mayweather vs Paul fight pay-per-view, according to the event's website. The first 1 million purchases will cost $24.99, increasing to $39.99 that threshold is reached. On December 29, the price jumps to $59.99 and then to $69.99 on February 11. The announcement comes one week after Paul's brother, Jake Paul, knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson.

Logan Paul has fought before. He twice fought vlogger and rapper Olajide "KSI" Olatunji with the first bout ending in a draw and a second with KSI's victory over Paul. Mayweather, who was undefeated in his career with a record of 50-0, is considered one of boxing's all-time greats. He retired in 2017 after defeating Conor McGregor, a fight that Forbes estimated generated more than $550 million in revenue.

As a man who has promoted a bout between Logan Paul and KSI himself, you might think Eddie Hearn would be all for a Floyd Mayweather vs Paul fight, but that’s seemingly not quite the case. The Matchroom Boxing kingpin has had his say, labelling the fight “madness”. He told iFL TV: “I’ve just got absolutely no interest in watching that at all.

Hearn explained his stance on that question: “We’ve got to be a little bit careful that we don’t just say ‘This does numbers let’s do it.’ We have to drive the great fights. We have to make Fury against AJ and we have to make Crawford against Spence. But I would do Jake Paul against KSI. I do think that’s a good fight.

“I love the fight fans community because they’re so passionate, so opinionated, but it is literally just an offering. So, why would you have a freak out about it? Because ‘It’s not right for the sport?’ Who cares – let them get on with it. Don’t tune in. You’re never going to stop people from trying to make money out of things like that. If the numbers work, those things will always happen.

World Rugby has opened a probe into a “potential breach” by Spain of eligibility rules during their successful qualification for next year’s World Cup, with the player being investigated originally from South Africa. According to Spanish media, the player under investigation is South African-born prop Gavin van den Berg, who has been playing in Spain since 2018. Former All Blacks wing Waisake Naholo will attempt to earn a contract with the Crusaders after joining the team’s pre-season training for Super Rugby Pacific. Naholo has reportedly been brought into the Crusaders’ pre-season for the 2022 season, joining his younger brother and fellow wing Kini at the club. The 30-year-old returned to New Zealand last year after an injury-plagued stint with London Irish in the English Premiership. Naholo tried to earn a Super Rugby contract by turning out for Canterbury during last year’s NPC campaign, but there were no takers. However, the Crusaders have decided to give Naholo an opportunity as the club is not expecting their All Blacks to return until February.
